Senior Savvy is for Your Group

When your residents learn tech skills, it frees you up to do what you do best!

The reason you’ll want to add tech time workshops to your calendar is they will free you up from answering those techie questions! This will free you up to do things you do best – creating engagement for your residents. Also, there are some residents who will be more comfortable in a virtual class than they are in person.

How this will help you:

The reason you’ll want to add tech time workshops to your calendar is they will free you up from answering those techie questions! This will free you up to do things you do best – creating engagement for your residents. Also, there are some residents who will be more comfortable in a virtual class than they are in person.

How do we do this?

The tech time workshops we deliver at communities around the country are designed with three basic pillars:

  1. They are delivered at a slower pace
  2. We use subtitles to caption worlds because we know they lend to comprehension.
  3. We K.I.S.S  -keep it simple, senior. This is one of our core principles

We do this by providing a framework of basic understanding whether it’s on iPhone Photos or Email Tips. Your residents are waiting for an introduction or a diagram before using a new device. That is the type of learner they are and their generation is. We don’t overwhelm with too much info, but we do make sure the more advanced residents get the pro-tips they need.

Tell me more about your workshops:

Senior Savvy provides Zoom tech workshops around the country. Here’s how we do that: We start with a survey to share with your residents. The survey contains a variety of topics, everything from email basics to iPad settings. We tabulate the results and construct a three-month calendar of topics YOUR residents want to learn about. Each workshop is one hour long and within there is discussion in the beginning, time to ask questions, and time to collaborate. No question is unanswered. We always make sure the residents understand the materials, and if any resident requires Zoom connectivity, we provide that free of charge. We know we can create this connection with anyone! We want to make sure they can make it to their meetings. Any questions? Reach out to me!
